Canterbury

ABOUT SHAKER STYLE.

In 1774 A disenchanted anglican embarqed on a voyage from Manchester, England to experience life and religion in a new country. As time went on, many new Shaker settlements sprang up in Eastern United States; including Canterbury, Vermont. The trademark craftsmanship of this group was simple and functional furniture that still catches attention today.
